Ironic isn’t it? The week that the networking guy’s out of the office, the network breaks. This time, the dedicated ADSL line for Tax and Treasury’s share trading software failed after BT carried out some work at the local exchange.

This was a link I helped to install, so luckily we managed to scrape together enough information to resolve the issue by routing their traffic elsewhere.

And the ISDN link to Cheshunt failed – again, BT’s fault. At least it was only two red lights today.
