Dreadful to hear to news of ‘hamster’s’ accident on Wednesday. I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing Richard all the best for a speedy recovery.

His condition has just been downgraded from ‘serious but stable’ to ‘stable’ and reports indicate he has been conscious since the accident.
