A stressful week and TV over the ‘net

It’s been a rather stressful few days at work. Our department has been implementing a trial of Microsoft Exchange server for the top execs of the company so they can use Outlook when roaming the world for email, calendaring, contacts etc, as well the use of Blackberry’s when an Internet connection isn’t available.

£99 for a server?!

Occassionally, Dell go mad. They went mad sometime last week – Monday I think it was. They were selling servers for £99. The spec wasn’t top of the range, 2.53Ghz Celeron, 256Mb RAM and 80Gb HDD (like this) but for £99 who’s complaing? It would do nicely as a desktop PC!
