Camera
I currently use a Canon EOS 350D digital SLR camera. My previous camera was a Casio QV-R41 and before that an Olympus something-or-other (still have it somewhere).
Lenses
Along with the camera body I have six lenses:
- Canon USM zoom lens EF-S 17-85mm f4.0-5.6 IS
- Canon USM zoom lens EF 70-300mm f4-5.6 IS
- Canon EF 50mm f1.8
- Tamron SP 90mm Di Macro f2.8 (NEW)
The following lenses have been relegated to the shelf with the purchase of the two IS lenses above.
Accessories & Filters
I also have a RS60-E3 remote control shutter and 58mm and 67mm Hoya Circular Polarising filters and UV filters.
The latest additions to the kit are a Canon Speedlite 430EX II flash unit, an off-camera flash cord and an el-cheapo flash diffuser - which actually does a fantastic job.
Finally, my most recent purchase is a Manfrotto Modo Tripod.
Other cameras
My girlfriend has a Canon PowerShot A720 IS which complements the 350D for when we don’t want to lug around an SLR, and when it’s not appropriate to be carrying arounds loads of kit.
Future purchases
The next thing I’m looking to purchase is a wide angle (~10-20mm) lens. Possibly the Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6. However, I’ve got plenty of equipment to be getting on with for now!
